Safeguarding Adults Week 2022

As you may be aware it's National Adult Safeguarding Week from 21st November to 27th November.

Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Safeguarding Adults Board have produced a resource pack to support organisations to raise awareness of the safeguarding adults within their organisation and with people who use their services. This year the resource pack focuses on the importance of spotting signs of abuse and neglect.

The pack contains :-

  • See Something Say Something Campaign
  • Links to the new shorter See Something Say Something animations
  • Recognising the signs of abuse and neglect
  • activities to share with people who use your services
  • links to resources on safeguarding adults in different languages
  • resources for Communication Team to promote during safeguarding adult week and See Something Say Something campaign
  • A chance to attend the first LLR information session on "What is Adult Safeguarding?"

We hope you and your organisation find the resource pack useful.

The Boards offer information sessions on "What is Adult Safeguarding?" to people who live in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland about adults who may be at risk of abuse or neglect.
