Mental Capacity Act Training

The Leicester and Leicestershire & Rutland Safeguarding Adults Boards have commissioned Edge Training and Consultancy Ltd to run two courses on the Mental Capacity Act across 2024/5.

• The Mental Capacity Act: Basic Awareness Course is a half day course. It aims to enable participants working in our local area to have an awareness of the Mental Capacity 2005 and to be able to apply it to their everyday practice with people who use our services.
• The Mental Capacity Act: In Practice Course is a full day course. It aims to enable participants working in our local area to maximise their skills in implementing the Mental Capacity Act 2005 confidently and apply this in daily practice.
