See something, Say something - SAB campaign - 2025/26

This campaign is led by the Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland Safeguarding Adults Boards' Engagement and Communication Subgroup.
We provide assets and proposed messages to enable organisations to promote the campaigns from their own social media accounts.
The 'See Something Say Something' campaign aims to raise awareness of the signs of abuse and neglect for people with care and support needs and show how they can access support. The campaign runs for two weeks, four times a year.
This year the subgroup agreed that each campaign would focus on a specific theme. The themes are shown in the table below:
| Campaign dates | Theme |
| 9 to 20 June 2025 | Self-neglect (including hoarding) |
| 8 to 19 September 2025 | Exploitation/cuckooing, also known as home takeover |
| 17 to 21 November 2025 | National Adult Safeguarding Week |
| 17 to 28 November 2025 | Domestic abuse |
| 23 February to 6 March 2026 | Neglect |
Our safeguarding adults resources are available from our leaflets page - https://lrsb.org.uk/leaflets.
See something, Say something animations
The Leicester Safeguarding Adults Board and the Leicestershire and Rutland Safeguarding Adults Board jointly produced the "See something, Say something" animations. The videos shine a spotlight on exploitation and cuckooing, neglect and domestic abuse but these signs can also indicate other forms of harm.
The videos are available on our YouTube Channel:
