This page for school staff and governors has been developed as part of the child sexual exploitation awareness campaign 'Spot the signs'. The materials help raise awareness of the signs of child sexual exploitation and who to contact if you have any concerns.

Governors have a responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. This support information has been designed to update governors on the 'Spot the signs?' campaign.

Chelsea's Choice

This hard hitting production raises awareness of CSE, what makes a healthy relationship and how to stay safe on the internet. Chelsea's Choice is for audiences from 12 years of age and is also very effective in raising awareness in adults. The play is 40 minutes long followed by a 20-30 minute plenary session exploring issues raised in the play.

The play will tour Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland from September to December 2017. This tour is now fully booked.

Teaching resources - relationships and sex education

With the roll-out of Chelsea's Choice - a theatre in education production which raises awareness of what makes a healthy relationship - ensure that school policies and materials for relationships and sex education (RSE) are up to date, address the current issues and concerns of young people.
