Awareness Campaign Resources

'WRONG' Campaign 2017

Partners in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland have developed a series of posters, digital images and other resources designed to increase awareness of local domestic abuse and sexual violence services.

This campaign, aims to make people aware that they can get information and support from the local support services and targets under-reporting groups.

Under-reporting groups

The poster campaign and social media messages for November 2017 have been designed to reach groups of people who we understand are less likely to come forward for help: Men and women over the age of 55, and Asian/Asian British victim-survivors. Statistically, these groups may suffer the longest before reporting, and face multiple issues. The campaign also says to perpetrators that they are responsible for their behaviour and they have options if they are willing to change.

The month of events in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland are held in November to coincide with International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on 25 November. Please note – all WRONG campaign resources may be used beyond this campaign period.
